Building A New Airplane III

Getting closer now, wings are done and in a separate area to be attached later. Landing gear is on and controls in. Now the plane gets painted before it goes to the avionics department where the instruments for navigation and engine functions get put into the panel.

Got to give thanks to Composite Technologies and it's guys, Steve Darrow, Dave Byers, Billy Fields, Jerry La Roche, Dean Arnold and Mike Fox. All these folks basically hold your hand and help you throughout the building process and keep any mistakes from occurring. They are invaluable to the process and they are great guys as well. Again it's interesting to note how similar this is to building a boat, it's alot more regimented and complicated, but the lamination, composite materials and methods for structural integrity of those materials is the same.
