Greg Goodwin

Greg is the master of color and composition. He is the guy who goes through the extra time to set up lights, reflectors and monitors just to put that extra little life in every shot. He is immensely talented and a quietly rugged guy. He is the guy who when you turn to him after an incredible jump or catch and ask, "Did you get the shot?", he just smiles and nods. Not only did he get the shot, but he also got three other things that you never saw... all perfectly framed and all with perfect colors. We are lucky to have him.

Greg Goodwin, the master of composition and color at his craft. The background is what you see from the porch at the lodge at Xingu River.

Tim Schick, Greg Goodwin and myself on a riverboat on one of the tributaries of the Rio Negro, Brazil. We went to see some the villages of the river people. This is where a 70 year old indigenous native taught me that I cannot climb a skinny palm tree and that tarantulas are cool to put on your body and let them crawl all over you. Unfortunately, Tim and Greg did a good job of filming the "not climbing" palm tree part (my biggest embarrassment). Tragically, they only got a few frames of the tarantula crawling over my face and neck.( my biggest achievement) ...sigh...
