Captain Carter Andrews - Background
Fishing
has been a passion of mine since I can remember. While growing
up on a farm in Tennessee, I spent all my free time fishing
and dreaming of being a professional bass fisherman. In the
late 70's I was introduced to fly fishing. The only thing that
got in the way of my fishing was school and a conventional job
for a short period of time. Then I saw the light. I wanted to
share the joy I got from fishing with as many people as possible.
I've been fortunate to experience some really fantastic fishing
in some beautiful parts of the world.
Five
years ago I stumbled upon Crooked Island. Although sports
fishing has been a large part of tourism in the Bahamas for
over thirty years Crooked Island has had little fishing pressure.
The friendly residents of Crooked Island and I would like
to share with you this wonderful world. The gentle breeze
in the palm trees, the miles of white sand, and the famous
crystal clear water of the Bahamas is the perfect combination
for an unforgettable vacation.
