crew setting up

Taking a little siesta before getting back to work... not really, just the crew seeing just how many people you can fit in a bunk on the Mothership Nomad.
|
The proud ship Nomad. This was our floating base of operations for 9 days in Australia.

Japanese ship wreck stuck at an impossible angle in the sand. We use this as a backdrop for some of the interviews. There was nothing in the sand but bird, turtle and hermit crab tracks.

Sunset from the wreck

Wes Miller, Mike McKinnis, me and Tim Schick heading back to the mother ship Nomad. These are the guys that make it all happen, really talented group of guys even though they act like doofusses. (Doofus.......... is that really a word???)).

Tim Schick covering the arrival and unloading of the float plane at the mother ship Nomad.

Mike with his first Red Sea Bass.... (Really a snapper) ....... fish was caught on a butterfly jig!!
|
What a bunch of Doofusses......... Really, this is how we deal with some of the pain factor of some of these trips......weeping openly helps immensely.......... Not really, this is just part of the cutting up, funny stuff that keeps us sane.
