My name is Derek Redwine. After many years of being friends with Jose Wejebe, he recently asked me if my family and I would be interested in doing a fishing show with him. After I picked myself up off the ground, we talked through some ideas. Jose made it clear he really just wanted us to do what we do.

This was very special to us because he wasn't asking us to be a fishing guide, captain, or expert on the river...he was just asking us to be a family and show him how we like to explore the outdoors and pass on our passion on to our child.
Plane is done and Flying!
After years of hard work and testing, the plane is finally done and has been put to the test. The goal was to build a plane that could fly far, fast, and heavy. It comes from a kit plane manufacturer known as Compair and you build it together with a company known as Composite Technologies. We built it from the ground up with exploration, filming and fishing in mind.

Crooked Island - Fishing and Flying in the Bahamas
Some pictures from Crooked Island, Flying into the southeastern portion of the Bahamas for some grouper fishing. While we were there a drug run gone bad ended with 3 guys stranded on Bird Rock, a little rock hump just off Crooked Island with only a defunked light house on it and nothing else.

Building A New Airplane II
Things are moving right along with the building of the airplane. Sounds scary at first, the though of actually building a plane, but the guys at Aerocomp and Composite Technologies have really made it seem... well.... maybe not easy, but possible.

Comp Air Turbo Prop Experimental Airplane Build
Jose Wejebe begins the process of building a new turbo prop experimental airplane with the folks at Comp Air. The kit airplane is built with composite materials much like a boat and you put it together with the help the builder assist program. It is powered by a 680hp Walters Turbine engine.

Sea Vee 34 Spanish Fly Boat with triple Mercury Verado Outboards
I am currently working with Sea Vee Boats to build the new Spanish Fly. It is going to be a 34', center console with triple Mercury Verados. I have never been a fan of the hype of triple engines boats, until I rode in that same boat and was really impressed with the performance, balance and speed of the whole rig.
