In Key West, what happens when you mix blood and guts, wahoo and sharks, in the wintertime? Well, down here, we go swimming!
This is the time of year that we spend a fair amount of time close to the edge of the reef just off Key West. Most of the inshore water is cold, but the warm offshore waters of the Gulf Stream move in closer.
As the Action-Craft skiff begins to come on plane across the greenish tinted water, I am thankful I have been blessed for another day of life. Today isn't just another day, today I'm fishing and filming with Jose Wejebe in the Florida Keys. Our quarry; fish and reflections of the past and present. A celebration of the "bro's!"
This was very special to us because he wasn't asking us to be a fishing guide, captain, or expert on the river...he was just asking us to be a family and show him how we like to explore the outdoors and pass on our passion on to our child.
The sailfishing in that part of Mexico is nothing short of amazing!
